VM500 Temperature Guard PyGON now offers a very unique product series, the VM500, for critical temperature monitoring, logging and alarm dialing for refrigerators and freezers. This is a stand alone product, no computer is required, only a phone line. With our VM500 solution you can stack the VM500's and monitor up to 128 points over one phone line. The VM500 has a built in synthesized voice module to allow you to hear the current status at any time with a touch-tone phone. Additionally, the VM500 will call out to a series of preprogrammed numbers when an alarm condition is met (conditions you can specify) and warn you to avoid loss of critical cooling, heating, or humidity level. This is a system that we can custom install and program for you. Please Contact Us for a quote or for a demonstration.

This voice system is unique to any other product on the market and is the easiest way to monitor temperatures and alarm dial as no computer is ever required. The VM500 continues to call until someone acknowledges the alarm condition with a special PIN Number. The VM500 will assist you in meeting USDA, HACCP, FDA requirements and obtain UL and ISO 9000 certification. We use two sets of probes... standard refrigerator/freezer probes (+231 deg F down to -55 deg F) and the cryogenic freezer probes (+86 deg F down to -202 deg F). Additionally, all of our temperature probes are NIST traceable and can be ordered with a NIST Certificate. Each VM500 comes standard with a 4 hour battery in the event of an extended power outage and we offer up to a 30 hour battery.

The VM500 is a nice fit for Hospitals, Universities, Research Labs and Industrial Systems where the monitoring and alarming of temperature, humidity, water sensing, doors, and power status are critical. Almost any type of cabling (including CAT5, CAT5E, CAT6, etc.) can be used inbetween the VM500 and each temperature probe in lengths up to 500 feet. Additionally, there is data output on an RS232 port so all information can be logged to a system or file in real-time. There is also a standard LCD display that shows current conditions and high/low history.

Additional VM500 products allow you to monitor, log and set alarms fortemperature, humidity, presence of water, and presence of power. We also have several specialized products that allow remote control of power relays.
